Unity In Action
Our Community's Organized, Empowered, Prayerful Response To This Time of Change
Unity in Action is our community's organized initiative for this time of change — a coordinated, community-led effort to address our financial realities, reimagine our future, and strengthen the programs and ministries that make us who we are.
In close partnership with our Board of Trustees the Unity in Action Leadership Circle keeps four working groups connected, supported, and moving forward.

The Four Working Groups
ReImagining Circles
Weekly circles open to all community members, meeting throughout May and June while Rev. DeeAnn is on sabbatical. The ReImagining Circles are a space for visioning, discernment, and honest conversation about what Unity in Marin's next chapter looks like. This is not a committee — it is a communal spiritual practice. It is anchored in our spiritual practices of visioning, affirmative prayer and meditation. Every voice belongs here. Especially the hesitant ones.
Fundraising Team
Our Fundraising Team leads creative initiatives to generate income beyond our regular giving — special campaigns, community events, major donor outreach, and other inspired efforts. If you have energy for bringing people together around a cause, making connections, or helping organize creative fundraising efforts — this team needs you.
Preschool Outreach Team
Our Montessori preschool is a genuine gem — a program with heart, expertise, and a track record of transforming young lives. Right now, we need more families to know it exists. The Preschool Outreach Team focuses on growing enrollment through creative outreach, community connections, and getting the word out in Marin County and beyond.
Legacy Giving Team
One of the most powerful spiritual practices we can engage in is deciding, consciously and unapologetically, how we want our love for this community to live on. The Legacy Giving Team invites members to explore planned gifts, bequests, and legacy giving as an extension of their faith — not as a financial transaction, but as a sacred yes.
